Man Found Guilty of Sending Son Into L.A. Waffle House to Rob Rap Star PnB Who Was Shot Dead

In a significant courtroom decision, a Compton jury found Freddie Lee Trone guilty of murdering rapper PnB Rock in September 2022. Trone's 17-year-old son, under his orders, shot the rapper to death during a robbery at Roscoe’s House of Chicken & Waffles in South L.A. The killing occurred after PnB Rock refused to hand over his jewelry, which he had posted on Instagram. The rapper, whose real name is Rakim Allen, was wearing several hundred thousand dollars worth of jewelry at the time. Upon sentencing, scheduled for August 27, the family hopes this verdict provides some solace for their unimaginable loss.
