13 L.A. County Employees Charged in $437K COVID Unemployment Fraud Scheme

Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman has charged 13 county employees across seven departments with stealing a combined $437,000 in pandemic unemployment benefits—one of the latest corruption scandals to hit local government.
