Newly released Justice Department files include a 2023 tip from Mark Epstein claiming his brother, convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, was murdered in federal custody because he was about to name names. While the New York City medical examiner ruled the death a suicide and DOJ officials say the claims are unfounded, the records also highlight security failures at the jail and details about Epstein’s prior suicide attempt and use of an alias passport.

The beloved 1988 cult classic Christmas at Pee-wee’s Playhouse returns to the big screen on December 27 at Alex Theatre for a one-night benefit packed with live music, special guests, and immersive fan experiences. New Rape and Sexual Assault Charges Filed Against Russell Brand
British prosecutors have filed new rape and sexual assault charges against Russell Brand, expanding a criminal case that now includes allegations from six women dating back more than two decades. The latest counts were authorized by the Crown Prosecution Service and follow charges filed earlier in 2025 involving four women. Brand is scheduled to appear in court in January 2026, with a trial on the initial charges set for June. After the new charges were announced, Brand posted a video on social media in which he appeared to pray and spoke about atonement.
