New Rape and Sexual Assault Charges Filed Against Russell Brand

British prosecutors have filed new rape and sexual assault charges against Russell Brand, expanding a criminal case that now includes allegations from six women dating back more than two decades. The latest counts were authorized by the Crown Prosecution Service and follow charges filed earlier in 2025 involving four women. Brand is scheduled to appear in court in January 2026, with a trial on the initial charges set for June.
