A Good Samaritan intervened, trying to stop the attacker, who seemed to be experiencing a psychotic break or drug reaction. Beverly Hills Police arrived and found the suspect injured. They tackled him, but he later died from his injuries. The father received treatment and was released, and he is cooperating with the investigation.
