Burn Cage Found at Former D4vd Home as Teen Death Case Moves Toward Grand Jury
A private investigator hired by the owner of a Hollywood Hills home formerly rented by singer D4vd says he discovered a boxed burn cage incinerator inside the residence weeks after the body of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez was found in the trunk of a Tesla registered to the artist. Authorities have not commented on whether the device is considered evidence, and no charges have been filed, though investigators have said the case is being presented to a grand jury.

Nick Reiner Could Face Death Penalty as Prosecutors Cite Special Circumstances
Nick Reiner has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of his parents, filmmaker Rob Reiner and photographer Michele Singer Reiner, with Los Angeles County prosecutors saying special circumstances could make the case eligible for the death penalty or life without parole. District Attorney Nathan Hochman said his office owes it to the victims’ memory to pursue justice, citing the allegation of multiple murders and the use of a deadly weapon. Reiner was taken into custody hours after the bodies were discovered at the family’s Brentwood home and has not yet appeared in court due to pending medical clearance.

The move would direct the DEA to complete a long stalled rescheduling process, reduce barriers to medical research, and allow the FDA to further evaluate cannabis for therapeutic use. The order may also encourage Congress to advance banking protections for legal cannabis businesses, marking one of the most consequential shifts in federal marijuana policy in decades.

Warner Bros. Discovery has formally rejected Paramount Skydance’s $30-per-share takeover offer, with its board calling the proposal inadequate and too risky for shareholders. Company leaders said the bid failed to address longstanding concerns raised during months of discussions and reiterated that WBD’s $82.7 billion merger with Netflix offers greater certainty and long-term value. Paramount disputed that claim, arguing its all-cash offer was superior, while the Netflix deal continues to draw scrutiny from politicians, unions, and industry workers worried about consolidation and job losses.
