Admitted Dirty Doc Charged in Connection with Matthew Perry's Death in Federal Court Wed.
Mark Chavez, a former doctor at "Dreamscape Ketamine - the Heath MD" clinic, is expected to plead guilty in a Little Tokyo federal courtroom. Chavez allegedly conspired to distribute ketamine to "Friends" star Matthew Perry, who died of an overdose last October. Chavez's guilty plea makes him the third out of five charged in this tragic case. Federal prosecutors say Chavez, along with Dr. Salvador "Dr. P" Plasencia, gouged Perry by selling ketamine at an inflated price. They manipulated Perry's addiction struggles for profit, according to court documents. Chavez will enter a change of plea and leave the courthouse on a $50,000 bail.
