Nancy Silverton to Open Spacca Tutto, a New Italian Steakhouse in Pacific Palisades
James Beard Award-winning chef Nancy Silverton is bringing her signature flair to the Westside with Spacca Tutto, a new Italian American steakhouse opening at Palisades Village in August 2026. Teaming up with Rick Caruso and River Jetty Restaurant Group, Silverton describes the concept as a bold blend of Italian-inspired dishes and classic steakhouse favorites. The project also marks a milestone in the Palisades community’s recovery following the January 2025 fires.
EōS Fitness Takes Over Most of Gold’s Gym Southern California
The legendary Gold’s Gym brand—long synonymous with Venice Beach and bodybuilding icons like Arnold Schwarzenegger—has sold 23 of its Southern California locations to Dallas-based EōS Fitness. While the original Venice location remains under Gold’s ownership, all other gyms will transition to EōS, which plans to retain staff and expand amenities under its high-value, low-price model. The deal marks the end of an era for the famed fitness chain that helped define SoCal’s gym culture.
Chargers Overcome Early Pick-Six and Joe Alt Injury to Defeat Titans
Justin Herbert rebounded from an early interception to lead the Los Angeles Chargers to a 27-20 win over the Tennessee Titans, throwing for two touchdowns and rushing for another.
