L.A. Federal Prosecutors Lauded by ATF Director for Work in Wild Murder For Hire, Arson Case

Federal prosecutors from L.A. have been highly commended for their work in prosecuting Arthur Raffy Aslanian, a landlord from La Cañada Flintridge. Aslanian was sentenced to 20 years for orchestrating a plot to kill his former lawyer and setting fire to his North Hollywood rental property to displace low-income tenants. The prosecution team, consisting of Assistant U.S. Attorneys Kevin Butler, Kevin Reidy, and Eli Alcaraz, received the prestigious Attorney General's commendation for their dedication. The case was bolstered by the efforts of ATF agents and a crucial cooperating informant who played a pivotal role in Aslanian's conviction.
