Evacuation Warnings Issued as Heavy Rain Hits Los Angeles
Heavy rain swept into Los Angeles early Monday, triggering evacuation warnings in vulnerable burn scar areas and prompting officials to close sections of Topanga Canyon Boulevard. The National Weather Service is forecasting strong winds, possible thunderstorms, and up to three inches of rain in some areas before conditions ease later in the day. Additional storm systems are expected to arrive Tuesday and Wednesday.
