L.A. Mayoral Debate Collapses After Bass and Raman Withdraw
A planned televised Los Angeles mayoral debate scheduled for Wednesday night has been canceled after City Councilmember Nithya Raman withdrew days after Mayor Karen Bass announced she would not attend. Organizers with the Pat Brown Institute and League of Women Voters said the event would not proceed with only two candidates remaining. Raman’s campaign said she joined the forum specifically to debate Bass, whose campaign defended skipping the event to focus on lobbying efforts in Sacramento tied to homelessness and Palisades fire recovery.

Seth Rogen’s Hilarity for Charity Lights Up The Greek
Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller Rogen brought comedy, music and heart to The Greek Theatre during the Netflix Is a Joke Festival with their annual Hilarity for Charity fundraiser.
