L.A. County Declares State of Emergency Amid ICE Raids and Political Turmoil

Los Angeles County officials have declared a state of emergency to provide rent relief and legal aid to undocumented residents affected by ongoing ICE raids. The move comes as the Board of Supervisors faces backlash for quietly approving a $2 million payout to former CEO Fesia Davenport and just ahead of expected fraud charges against more than a dozen county employees.
