Bank of America Reaches Settlement With Epstein Victims
Bank of America has agreed to settle a lawsuit brought by victims of Jeffrey Epstein, who accused the bank of helping facilitate his sex trafficking operation for profit. The terms of the agreement have not been disclosed and still require court approval. The settlement comes as billionaire Apollo Global co-founder Leon Black had been ordered to sit for a deposition tied to the case. Black is still expected to testify before the House Oversight Committee in May about his financial ties to Epstein, which included more than $158 million in payments that investigators say may have helped fund Epstein’s trafficking network.
