Accused Co-Conspirator in Palm Springs Bombing Dies by Suicide in L.A. Jail

Daniel Park, a Washington man accused of helping plan a deadly car bombing outside a Palm Springs fertility clinic, died by suicide this week while in federal custody in downtown Los Angeles. Authorities say Park jumped from a balcony at the Metropolitan Detention Center, where he was being held ahead of trial. His alleged co-conspirator, Guy Bartkus, died in the May 17 blast.
