Now the 73 year old is the focus of an international manhunt after the FBI says she posed as an heiress, forged trust documents and defrauded at least two California banks out of nearly $30 million. Federal investigators believe she fled to Dubai while leaving behind unpaid employees, angry creditors and a long trail of debt tied to her failed company.
Former Dodger Great Jeff Kent Elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame
Former Dodger Jeff Kent has earned his place in the National Baseball Hall of Fame after receiving 14 committee votes, surpassing several major contenders. Kent, the all time home run leader among second basemen, spent 17 seasons in the MLB, including his final four in Los Angeles, and capped his career with an MVP award, five All Star selections, and eight seasons of 100 or more RBI. Kent will be formally honored in Cooperstown on July 26.
Chargers Outlast Eagles in Wild Overtime Monday Night Finish
The Chargers pulled out a dramatic 22-19 overtime win against the Philadelphia Eagles in a chaotic Monday Night Football matchup at SoFi Stadium.
