Rangers Raid Massive Illegal Marijuana Grow in Sequoia National Park

Park rangers in Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park uncovered nearly 2,400 marijuana plants hidden deep in the wilderness, along with a semi-automatic pistol and toxic pesticides banned in the U.S. The illegal grow destroyed 13 acres of protected land and is part of a decades-long narco industry that has siphoned water, devastated ecosystems, and fueled violent crime in California’s Central Valley.
