Six U.S. Air Force Members Killed in KC-135 Crash in Western Iraq
All six crew members aboard a U.S. Air Force KC-135 refueling aircraft were killed after the tanker went down in western Iraq on Thursday during Operation Epic Fury, according to U.S. Central Command. Initial reports said four airmen had died, but officials later confirmed there were no survivors as recovery efforts continued. Authorities say the crash was not caused by hostile or friendly fire and the incident is now under investigation. The identities of the crew are being withheld until their families are notified. The loss marks the first Air Force fatality tied to Operation Epic Fury and the first U.S. tanker aircraft crash in more than a decade.

Former Obama White House counsel Kathryn Ruemmler is set to testify before Congress next month as questions intensify over her long-documented relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Police Recover $6 Million in Luxury Goods After Temecula Burglary Arrest
Authorities say more than $6 million in stolen luxury goods were recovered after a Temecula man was arrested in connection with a January burglary that targeted an El Segundo home. During a raid on the suspect’s residence, investigators found more than 100 designer handbags, including Birkin, Chanel and Louis Vuitton, along with high-end watches, jewelry, firearms, gold coins and over $800,000 in cash. Police believe the suspect may be part of a burglary crew operating across Los Angeles and San Diego counties that targeted victims based on what they shared on social media. Investigators say the case remains active and additional arrests are possible.
Bradley Cooper in Talks to Direct and Star in ‘Ocean’s 11’ Prequel
Bradley Cooper is reportedly in talks to direct and star alongside Margot Robbie in Warner Bros’ upcoming Ocean’s 11 prequel, which will be set in 1960s Europe before the events of the 2001 heist film. The project is still in early stages after the recent departure of director Lee Isaac Chung, with Cooper potentially stepping in to guide the film while also taking a lead role. Robbie remains attached to star and produce through LuckyChap Productions, as the studio continues developing the next chapter in the long running Ocean’s franchise that has grossed more than $1.4 billion worldwide.
Security Increased at L.A. Synagogues After Michigan Attack
Security is being heightened at synagogues and Jewish institutions across Los Angeles after a violent attack at a synagogue near Detroit left a security guard injured. Authorities say a man drove a truck through the building before exchanging gunfire with a guard and being killed by police. While officials say there is no known threat to Los Angeles, the LAPD and private security firms say patrols and protective measures around Jewish communities, including the Pico-Robertson area, are being increased as a precaution.
