The refreshed space features new art by L.A. creatives, brighter interiors, and expanded member offerings, from live performances to elevated dining, all honoring the club’s enduring role as a hub for Hollywood’s creative community.

Senate Moves to End Historic 41-Day Government Shutdown
After the longest government shutdown in U.S. history, the Senate has finally passed a funding bill to reopen federal operations. The measure, approved in a 60-40 vote, reverses recent mass layoffs, restores worker pay, and funds the government through late January. The bill now heads to the House, which could vote as soon as Wednesday to officially bring the six-week shutdown to an end.
L.A. Metro’s Tap-to-Exit Program Returns to North Hollywood and Union Station
After a months-long pause prompted by safety concerns, L.A. Metro is reinstating its tap-to-exit program at North Hollywood and Union Station starting Nov. 17. The system, which requires riders to tap their TAP cards when leaving the station, helps ensure fare compliance and has reportedly made riders feel safer. Metro staff will be on hand to assist passengers and promote the agency’s low-income fare program as the initiative rolls out again.

Selena Quintanilla’s legacy takes center stage at the Grammy Museum next year with Selena: From Texas to the World, a special pop-up exhibit running January 15 through March 16, 2026. Featuring personal items never before seen outside her hometown museum in Corpus Christi, including the microphone from her final performance, her 1994 Grammy dress, and signature gold hoops, the bilingual exhibit offers an intimate tribute curated by Selena’s sister, Suzette Quintanilla.
