Val Kilmer, the iconic actor known for roles in Batman Forever and The Doors, passed away at 65 from pneumonia, following years of health struggles after a throat cancer diagnosis. He was set to attend the Beverly Hills Film Festival for a Michael Madsen biopic but passed just before his scheduled arrival. Kilmer, remembered for his artistic versatility, shifted to painting and poetry in his later years. He founded the creative space HelMel and embraced art as a healing force. Tributes poured in, with former love Cher among those honoring his brilliance and resilience.

Los Angeles County Prosecutors Won't Charge Actress Kim Delaney in Domestic Incident
Actress Kim Delaney and her husband, James Morgan, were arrested over the weekend in Marina del Rey following an alleged domestic violence incident but will not face immediate prosecution. Delaney was accused of felony assault, while Morgan faced a misdemeanor charge. Despite reports, including claims that Delaney attempted to hit Morgan with her car, the L.A. County District Attorney has declined to file charges, citing insufficient evidence but leaving the case open for further review.
