The iconic Chin Chin restaurant in West Hollywood—credited with popularizing the Chinese Chicken Salad and frequented by celebrities for decades—is closing its original Sunset Plaza location this Sunday, July 27. As it searches for a new home, the restaurant is auctioning off its kitchen equipment online. While this chapter ends, Chin Chin’s other locations in Brentwood, Studio City, and Las Vegas remain open.
