The move—condemned by Governor Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass as a political provocation—comes after violent clashes outside the Metropolitan Detention Center, where immigrants are being held. Trump defended the deployment by warning, “They spit, we hit,” while officials brace for further unrest.

Pasadenans Protest ICE Presence at Local Hotel Amid Growing Tensions
Hundreds of peaceful protestors gathered outside Pasadena’s AC Hotel after reports that ICE agents were staying on-site and allegedly questioning hotel staff. Diddy’s Lawyers File New Mistrial Motion, Accuse Prosecutors of Hiding False Testimony
