Your Essential Guide to Voting in L.A.
As Election Day is today, November 5, 2024, it’s essential for Los Angeles residents to be informed about their voting options:
In-Person Voting: Vote Centers are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. You can vote at any center within Los Angeles County. To find the nearest location, visit the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s website.
Mail-In Ballots: If you have a mail-in ballot, ensure it’s postmarked by today and received within 17 days to be counted. Alternatively, you can drop it off at any Vote Center or designated drop box by 8 p.m.
Ballot Drop Boxes: Secure drop boxes are available throughout the city for convenient ballot submission until 8 p.m.
Remember to check your voter registration status and review the sample ballot ahead of time to make informed decisions. Participating in the electoral process is a vital civic duty—ensure your voice is heard.
